The SpeedDemon is Light Lower Body Armor available in Blacklight: Retribution.
Overview
The SpeedDemon drastically increases your Run speed, at the cost of your health.
This armor is a suitable lower body armor for players who want to get to objectives faster or just want to go up-close-and-personal. It does not have any Gear Slots.
When moving with these Boots equipped, there is a graphical effect where your boots draw streaks of light in your team color.

It was possible to get this item for free. To achieve this, the SSD Speed Test in the Settings menu has to be performed. If the right type (and brand) of hard drive is detected, the player gets The SpeedDemon for free, permanently.
