Outpost is a Map that was added to the PC version of Blacklight: Retribution with the release of the Parity Patch.
Overview[]
Outpost is small map with a desert theme and few indoor areas. This map has two central elevated areas with a ravine separating them. Both elevated areas can be accessed from each team's starting point and provide ample cover. Controlling either or both of these elevated areas will provide players with a large tactical advantage over players on the edges of the map.
If your team is stuck roaming the map edges consider flanking the central area to catch unsuspecting players and possibly flip the spawn points.
Domination Mode[]
Controlling Point B is key to winning Domination on this map. Once the match begins all players except one, should head to point B and defend the player capturing it. Players should then fall back slightly so they can defend point B.
Avoid standing on captured points as enemies are likely to throw grenades before attempting to capture.
Don't forget to equip the Firewall Breach Kit before the match starts or switch to a Loadout that has it. This will significantly reduce the time it takes to hack an enemy node.
